Another superb ambient album with effective use of vocal samples.
This one very carefully treads the twilight areas between crowds and solitude, at the edge of the urban, night and day. Gene Hex ● Evening of Light
I'm still getting through this multi-genre whopper compilation. It covers so many genres - all of which I like. It was expertly compiled and gives a great sense and overview of the labels releases. PadraigC
...Yet beyond crafting four distinct atmospheres, it's the evolution of each piece, the change in seasonal sound, that makes Sallaw such an excellent piece of story-telling. Rather than shown the imagery upfront, the listener is instead guided, and left with space to explore on their own. The ability of the trio's minimal musical writing to evoke such a coherent subject is made all the more impressive by the subtlety with which it is achieved.

Rhythmic meditations of the highest caliber. At times the measured, pounding drums recall those you'd find on a GAS record, surrounded by ghostly vocals and electronic curiosities. Really can't go wrong with the combo of Baker, Coloccia and Mueller on drums. I've always had a love for legends of this ritual sort of sound, like Muslimgauze, O' Yuki Conjugate, or Dead Can Dance. 'See Through' pays homage to them, while offering something very special and all its own. This music keeps me breathing. Lost Tribe Sound
