55 Cancri e is an exoplanet far away and also the moniker of Swedish multidisciplinary artist Sara Hausenkamp. An inward journey consisting of endless guitar loops, wordless voices, also singing in Swedish, field recordings and synthesizers creating a melancholic, emotional and atmospheric soundcosmos.

On ”Du känner himlen” Sara Hausenkamp moves further into more experimental sounds, pairing guitar and electronic sounds with her voice, moistly using wordless lyrics but also swedish lyrics like on the title track, which is an outstanding folk drone track with mesmerizing melodies, using also a couple of instruments like slowly buzzing sounds of an accordion.

The album sounds are mostly fleet-footed but occasionally also dark and heavy, which brings a certain tention to the tracks. Sara Hausenkamp unites elements of folk, drone, ambient and electronic music into a growling mixture. ”Du känner himlen” was mastered by Aidan Baker, who concentrated on bringing out all the details of the different soundelements.
